Power Prog has announced the signing of a new Central American power metal hope, the Costa Ricans of Destiny. They will release their debut album, Time, as a special version and also as a worldwide digital release on February 12th.
A band and album description reads: “After the unexpected ending of Forever Lost, one of the highest acclaimed Central American Metal bands in recent years, former members Anton Darusso and Bryan S. Molina decided to start with a new power metal band in 2013. The matching comrade-in-arms were quickly found and Destiny was born. Influenced by bands like Angra, Stratovarius, Dragonfly, Helloween, Gamma Ray and other genre sizes, some notable songs were written and recorded amazingly fast and in outstanding quality. With the crucial support of sound engineer and producer Marco Vinicio Castro Pinagel, an impressive debut work was created which will attract maximum attention in the metal world. Nine technically demanding, catchy and entertaining tracks can be expected by the listener and fans of European influenced power metal will thoroughly enjoy this album as one of the first highlights in 2015.”
