CRADLE OF FILTH, ARCH ENEMY, DELAIN And More Featured On S.O.P.H.I.E Album In Support Of Sophie Lancaster Foundation

Coffee Jingle Records today release a charity album in aid of The Sophie Lancaster Foundation, available to order here, with all proceeds going to the charity.

The aims and objectives of the Charity are as follows: To create a lasting legacy to Sophie. To provide educational group-works that will challenge the prejudice and intolerance towards people from alternative subcultures. To campaign to have the UK Hate Crime legislation extended to include people from alternative subcultures or lifestyle and dress.

The murder of Sophie Lancaster occurred in the United Kingdom in 2007. The victim, along with her boyfriend, was attacked by a number of males in their mid-teens while walking through Stubbylee Park in Bacup, Rossendale, in Lancashire.

Owner of Coffee Jingle Records Martin Wake said the following about getting the opportunity to put the album together; "It was one of the first things I wanted to do when I started up the record label, I then finally was in the position to help the charity last year and set about asking bands and artists if they wanted to perform on it, and in return bands and artists were asking me if they could be on it, so I set about putting the album together."
