DANI FILTH Issues DEVILMENT And CRADLE OF FILTH Updates - "Busy Like A Little Bee Who Fell In A Large Cup Of Bolivian Coffee"

Cradle Of Filth frontman Dani Filth has checked in with the following update:

"I’m off abroad somewhere more clement for a few days and thankfully not in reach of the interweb, I’ve decided to quickly detail what’s been going in my professional (?) life of late. Literally a shit-storm of press for a start. Five hours a day for a fortnight with a lot more to follow for the new Devilment album, Devilment II -The Mephisto Waltzes. Which is good.

I like doing press. To be fair, what’s there not to like? You’ve delivered up a cracking album and now you get to talk about it vigorously until the cows come trundling home dressed like Fenriz.

There has also been a lot of to-ing and fro-ing with the editing of the performance video of 'Hitchcock Blonde' (the second single from the Devilment album) with the director Sam Scott-Hunter, which has culminated with delivery of said video to the record company for general release next Monday, the 24th of October. This video promises to be loud, creepy, brash and psychotic, or you’re all quite welcome to call me a stinking fibber. The guys and gal in Devilment have also been rehearsing for our forthcoming UK tour in December. Aside from the awesome She Must Burn, who special guest for the entire tour, regional support acts will be announced on my return to these fair shores.

Also, Cradle Of Filth are about eighty percent finished toward writing for their new album and therefore I have been equally immersed in the creative process here; burning the tallow at both ends by writing lyrics feverishly in the depths of the night and demoing my ideas at Springvale studios in the cruel light of the following day. The band are due to start recording our latest opus at the tail-end of the year, with a tentative release date (we really are jumping ahead of ourselves here!) set for September 2017 e.h.

So, busy busy busy! Like a little bee who fell in a large cup of Bolivian coffee."

Bestial wishes…
Dani

P.S.: "Anybody see Tim Burton’s new film Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children? Loved it! Best film he’s done in ages. And no Helen Bony-Carter in sight!"

Cradle Of Filth keyboardist / backing vocalist Lindsay Schoolcraft recently checked in with the following:

"We have finally started on the female vocals for the new Cradle of Filth album today! And I have to make an honourable mention to this dude right here. This is Tyler Williams from Monolithic Productions. He has been my producer for the past 4 years. I've trusted him with all my logins, passwords, bank accounts, getting my electric harp home in the freezing rain that one time. He could have royally messed up my life a few times if he really wanted to! But he didn't and that's why he gets to hear the new Cradle album in the making! Thanks for everything Tyler, you're pretty awesome."
