Due to illness, tonight's (June 5th) DANZIG LEGACY show in Pittsburgh has been canceled. A review of last night's (June 4th) show at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD can be viewed at Rocknrollexperience.com.
Dates: June 7 - Philadelphia, PA - Electric Factory 9 - Manchester, TN - Bonaroo Festival
Danzig recently premiered the song 'Devils Angels' from his new covers CD. The track - originally by DAVIE ALLAN & THE ARROWS - was originally the theme song for the late '60's biker film of the same title. Check it out below: Danzig had this to say about covering 'Devils Angels': "I've wanted to record this song since 1979 and this is exactly the same arrangement I had for it back then, so it pretty much sounds like that late '70's style of mine. I'm really happy with the way it turned out, it actually came out much better than I had hoped it would. We're going to be playing it live on these upcoming shows." Danzig is currently in the studio finishing up and mixing his as of yet untitled covers record, set for release late summer/early fall of 2012. As mentioned above, the album will also feature covers of BLACK SABBATH and ELVIS PRESLEY.
