DARK FUNERAL Check In From The Studio - “This Album Is A True Masterpiece And Will Shake The Foundations Of The Whole Black Metal Scene”
February 27, 2016, 8 years ago
Dark Funeral recently entered Dug-Out studios in Uppsala, Sweden to record their sixth studio album.
The band have issued the following update: “After four long weeks we are finally leaving the Dugout Productions headquarters for some well earned rest while Daniel Bergstrand will stay and take care of the final touches of the mix.
“We are not exaggerating when we say that this album is a true masterpiece and will shake the foundations of the whole black metal scene! We have poured from the darkest essence our black souls into this creation, the word proud doesn't even start to explain the strong feelings we have for the final outcome.
“The pieces are falling in place one by one. We recently also revealed that Kristian "Necrolord" Wåhlin is our artist of choice for the cover art, he's previously known for the cover art of our The Secrets Of The Black Arts album, released back in 1996, and his new creation is breath taking!
“There's so much more to tell but all in due time, stay updated by following our social media channels! This is just the beginning…”
As mentioned above, the album is being recorded and produced by Daniel Bergstrand (In Flames, Meshuggah, Soilwork, Dimmu Borgir, Behemoth) and will be released via Century Media Records. More details coming soon.
