DAVID LEE ROTH On VAN HALEN Members Relationship - "There Is Always Conflict"; The Opie & Anthony Show Video Interview Posted
March 12, 2013, 2 years ago
In a new video interview, DAVID LEE ROTH joins The Opie & Anthony Show and Jim Florentine and discusses the relationships (and conflicts) of the VAN HALEN band members.
When asked about the relationships between the band members, Roth states: "There is always conflict. I'm not gonna sugar coat it. In our band there is constant back and forth, and at the same time... I think everybody's more than old enough now to respect what we've been allowed to do. If we've made a contribution, that's for you to decide, but we've been allowed to do this job for... how many summers in a row?"
Roth also revealed that the band is going to be playing Europe in 2013. “Probably 50-60 shows outside of the United States starting at the end of this year and then come back around the US," says Diamond Dave. "Van Halen is kind of pure and uncut kind of music; it's leads, bass, drums and howling at the moon. It's a little bit like getting drunk on shots of really good Kentucky bourbon. You'll have a great night but you won't want to see us again in three years."
