Deep Purple Mark 5 with Joe Lynn Turner on lead vocals appeared on September 23rd, 1991 in Poznan Poland. This story was broadcast on local TV at the time discussing the band’s new album Slaves And Master (1990). This line up of the band were to only play three further shows before Ian Gillan returned to the band.
Slaves And Masters was one of Deep Purple’s weakest outings sales-wise, peaking at No. 87 on the Billboard 200, compared to their previous album, The House Of Blue Light (with Ian Gillan), which charted at No. 34.
