Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell and his side band, Last In Line, are set to embark on their Heavy Crown Tour 2016, launching in October. In the new episode of Talking Metal, Mark Strigl interviews Vivian Campbell, who discusses the upcoming, the Heavy Crown album, how he got the gig as Dio’s guitar player, Jimmy Bain, Ronnie James Dio, Vinny Appice, Phil Soussan, Dio’s performance on the TV show Rock Palace, his firing from Dio, how Wendy Dio didn’t want Dio to be a band, how they wrote the song “The Last In Line”, Def Leppard and the current state of his health.
