DEF LEPPARD vocalist Joe Elliott recently spoke to Las Vegas' 97.1 The Point from his home in Dublin, Ireland about his band's upcoming residency, Viva Hysteria! at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino's venue, The Joint and about how Def Lep has kept their sound in tact over the years. Listen below:

Throughout March and April 2013, Def Leppard will perform nine concerts at The Joint inside The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV. During each show, they will play their multiplatinum 1987 album Hysteria in its entirety. Confirmed dates are as follows:

March

22nd, 23rd, 27th, 29th, and 30th

April

3rd, 5th, 6th, and 10th

The nine-show residency will also feature encores highlighting other material from the group's 35-year career.

Hysteria, which includes the hits 'Pour Some Sugar on Me', 'Animal' and 'Love Bites', has sold more than 12 million copies in the USA and more than 20 million worldwide. The shows will mark the first time the band has played one of its albums live from start to finish.
