DEVILDRIVER drummer John Boecklin will be holding a drum clinic at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA on June 26th from 2pm - 5pm. He will "jam Devildriver tunes, answer questions and have a special guest coming to throw it down on guitar, so come on down people."

In other news, Devildriver will release their new album, Winter Kills, worldwide on August 27th via Napalm Records. However in Japan, Winter Kills will be issued on August 28th via Metal Blade Japan / Howling Bull Entertainment.

Devildriver frontman Dez FaFara comments; "I am thrilled to be in business with Brian Slagel and his Metal Blade team in Japan. To be associated with a person and company as respected, successful, and passionate as they are compliment my work ethic and passion to a tee. Sometimes it's about the company you keep and DevilDriver could not be in better company in Japan."

The band recorded Winter Kills in Florida at Audio Hammer Studios, and vocals in Los Angeles, CA at Dez's home studio with Mark Lewis (THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, WHITECHAPEL, ALL THAT REMAINS) handling production duties. Devildriver has worked with Lewis previously on Beast and The Last Kind Words.

"This is by far Devildriver's most cohesive, powerful, groove laden record to date," states Dez. "We delivered our signature California Groove sound alongside a raw and biting guitar tone, mixed it with massive hooks, added in thunderous drums to rethink, and reshape another different sounding unique piece of Rock-N-Roll! Cutting our own path is something to be proud of. Devildriver has always and will forever be about thinking outside the box and delivering on something different from record to record, we cannot be assimilated into any scene or even genre of metal and we will continue to do things our own way with a massive middle finger in the air to the status quo!"
