Co-owner Eddie White of UK-based Devilhorn, designers and manufacturers of clothing for fans of heavy metal music, is now an official Heavy Metal Truant, the charity set up by IRON MAIDEN Manager Rod Smallwood, and Alexander Milas.

Donnington or Bust! is the worlds first Heavy Metal Charity Bicycle Ride and unites the great and good of the music industry - agents, managers, promoters, publicists, record labels, media organisations, and artists alike for a gruelling 161-mile bicycle ride leaving early from Alexandra Palace in North London on June 12th and arriving at Download Festival around midday on June 14th.

Says Eddie, “I’m pleased as anything to be taking part in this bike ride and for what it stands for! Having family members and friends suffer from the effects of cancer it hits home more, the fact you only live once and should be eternally grateful you are alive and that you can do things to make other peoples lives better is why I’m doing this ride . Being lead guitarist in metal band Derision, and having a major love for music and the effect it can have on people, I’m a massive supporter of Nordoff Robbins and what they achieve.”

Devilhorn are offering some great deals to support Eddie’s fund raising efforts – check them out online at Devilhorn.co.uk. And in support of Eddie 20% of profits from all items purchased from now until the end of June will be donated to Heavy Metal Truants

Eddie has his own just giving donation page set up (here) where anybody wishing to donate can do so.

“Help make kids lives better!!” says Eddie.
