Entertaim.net caught up with Canadian vocalist/guitarist/producer Devin Townsend at the Luxor in Köln, Germany during the Devin Townsend Project's summer tour in August. In the clip below Townsend discusses DTP, the new Ziltoid album, the personal meaning of money, his creativity and about taking a break:
The following message was recently posted on Townsend's official Facebook page along with brand new Ziltoid The Omniscient artwork in anticipation of the forthcoming Z2 album:
"The digipak version of Z2 has been said to contain a bonus disc featuring the new Ziltoid album with all of the dialogue removed. Thoughts?"

Townsend's webmaster recently checked in with the following update: "You may have read it on the net already but Devin's announcement at Sonisphere UK was true; next year April 13th a very special one-off show starring the wonderfully omniscient Ziltoid will be held at the highly prestigious Royal Albert Hall in London, UK.. More details will be revealed in due time and tickets will go on sale soon."
Townsend recently finished recording the next Devin Townsend Project album as well as the Ziltoid follow-up, Z2. He has posted some clips of the guitar tracking for Z2 online:
