DIMMU BORGIR Say New Material "Is Shaping Up Nicely"

Legendary Norwegian black metallers DIMMU BORGIR have been working on long-awaited new material at an undisclosed location in Oslo. The follow-up to 2010's Abrahadabra is expected to appear in early 2014 via Nuclear Blast Records.

The band have checked in with the following brief update: "By the desire to achieve. Stoked about our new material, its shaping up nicely. Creativity is the power to connect the seemingly unconnected."

Pro-shot footage of Dimmu Borgir performing at Wacken Open Air 2012 in Wacken, Germany is available below. Originally aired by the country's ZDF network on the Kultur program, it features live footage of the band performing with an orchestra and an interview with guitarist Silenoz.
