Japan's DIR EN GREY have issued the following update:

"We are giving our MySpace profile a complete overhaul and now have slots for TEN songs on our player (there are also many openings on our Facebook and VampireFreaks pgaes.

Rather than randomly pick tracks, we'd like your help! Are you up for it?

Please make requests ONLY on our brand new Twitter. First make sure you're following us at twitter.com/direngrey. After that, send a tweet saying something along the lines of 'Hey @direngrey - I'd like to see (NAME OF SONG) added to your MySpace!' You'll HAVE to include @direngrey in there somewhere so that we see it, but please make sure to start your tweet with something else like "Hey" or "Hi" etc (so that all of your friends can see it).

We will randomly pick some of you from the Twitter requests to give DIR EN GREY prizes to so go, go, go!"

As previously reported, THE KILLING RED ADDICTION out of Japan, featuring Dir En Grey's executive producer and mastermind Dynamite Tommy (vocals) and CLOUD NINE / ex-LOUDNESS / ex-X JAPAN's Taiji Sawada (bass) have announced a live date for May 12th in West Hollywood, CA at the Whisky-A-Go-Go (see image on left for details).

BW&BK;'s Japanese source Takashi Kanazawa has filled us in on some details with regards to the band's line-up. It also features guitarist Tatsu (ex-GASTUNK) and drummer Kenzi (ex-KAMAITACHI). According to Kanazawa "the line-up is quite interesting if you spent your youth listening to indies punk/metal bands in Japan around '88 - '91."

It's unclear at this point whether the band will record any material or if this is a one shot deal. We'll keep you posted.
