DOWN Comment On Gulf Coast Emergency

DOWN - who feature in their ranks guitarist/vocalist Pepper Keenan (CORROSION OF CONFORMITY), drummer Jimmy Bower (EYEHATEGOD, SUPERJOINT RITUAL guitarist), guitarist Kirk Windstein (CROWBAR), and vocalist Philip Anselmo (SUPERJOINT RITUAL, ex-PANTERA) - have issued the following update:
"To the Down Brotherhood,We would like you all to be aware of the catastrophic oil spill which recently occurred in the Gulf Coast. This is a matter of extreme urgency, not only for the people of the gulf coast, but the world over. Please take the time to check out this website and respond accordingly. More volunteer opportunities will arise and any help and action on your part will make a difference.
Healthygulf.org is an organization Pepper has been involved with as a part of Down's continued support of rebuilding the Louisiana wetlands since hurricane Katrina.
Epa.gov is the new site the Environmental Protection Agency has set up for information on the oil spill."
