ELECTRIC EARTH Part Ways With Founding Bassist LYRIS KARLSSON

Lyris Karlsson, a founding member of Electric Earth, has decided to leave the band. The have issued the following statement:

"The reason is that Lyris wants to put 100% into his other band, Mammuthus. Electric Earth wants to take the opportunity to thank Lyris for all of his dedicated work and effort put into the band during the last decade and wishes him all the best for future enterprises.

Meanwhile the rest of Electric Earth will continue writing material for an upcoming album, their fifth, to be recorded later this year. There is no replacement for Lyris for the time being but the band will start looking in the near future.

Our focus at the moment is to continue writing for what we believe will be our best effort ever."
