ELUVEITIE Announce Third Leg Of Origins European Headlining Tour

After the incredible demand for the first parts of the band's European Origins tour (several shows have sold out weeks in advance), the folk metal eight-piece around singer and mastermind Chrigel Glanzmann has announce a much-anticipated third leg for the tour, with an extensive focus on Scandinavia.

Eluveitie has made history last year as the very first metal band ever to receive a prestigious Swiss Music Award - the Swiss Grammy, so to speak. The band was honored as Best Live Act, National by audience vote.

Immediately after accepting this award, Eluveitie returned to the Swiss New Sound Studio to record their sixth studio album Origins, again with legendary producer (and friend of the band) Tommy Vetterli (Kreator, Coroner).

Eluveitie have been riding from success to success throughout the band's 12-year history. However, with their new album Origins, the most successful band of its genre is setting new standards for itself. Origins has entered the Swiss album charts on #1 and has remained in the top ten for weeks, while entering in Germany on #6 and scoring entries in many other countries as well (including the US, France, Belgium, Austria and more).
