Sweden’s death metal overlords EVOCATION have shot a video for the track 'Divide And Conquer', featured on the band's fourth studio album, Illusions Of Grandeur, which was released through Century Media Records on September 24th in Europe.

Says the band: "The video was directed by Carlo Oppermann from Ambitious Films. We shot the video at an abandoned hospital in Offenbach on our "off day", October 3rd, while we were on tour in Germany. It will turn out quite spectacular, the band scenes which we already saw some scenes from were shot in an old surgery room with all the gear still in the room. Quite creepy... hehehe. The video will be launched really soon and in the meanwhile we will post some nice photos from the shoot. Hope you will enjoy!

Illusions Of Grandeur includes "ten tracks of supreme Swedish death metal, a perfect mélange of Stockholm rawness and Gothenburg epics," according to a press release.

Cover artist Xaay, who has already worked with Evocation on the Apocalyptic album, has proven to be the best choice for the job, delivering a dark and desolate yet beautiful piece of art for the new album.

Illusions Of Grandeur was recorded at IF Studios (IN FLAMES, THE HAUNTED) and Evocation Studios together with producer Roberto Laghi (In Flames) and mixed at IF Studios by Roberto Laghi. It was mastered at Bohus Sound Studios by Dragan Tanaskovic.

As a very special guest Johan Hegg of AMON AMARTH laid down guest vocals on the song 'Into Submission'.
