TANK, featuring singer Doogie White (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, RAINBOW, CORNERSTONE), Mick Tucker and Cliff Evans on guitar, and ex-BRUCE DICKINSON bassist Chris Dale, have issued the following update:

"Massive news from the War Office this morning - Mark Cross, formerly of FIREWIND, HELLOWEEN, IAN GILLAN, KINGDOM COME and more, is the new drummer of Tank. We are delighted to welcome Mark into the trenches and everyone connected with the band feels that his addition to our ranks will move the band into a new dimension."

Mark was born in London and has an English father and German mother. He started bashing the tubs at the age of nine and was brought up in three different countries, including Germany.

With Firewind, he released three studio albums, three singles, a double live CD and an in concert DVD between 2005 and 2010.

Mick Tucker, Tank's longest serving member (28 years), said the following about this exciting development: "We have now assembled some of the finest metal musicians Tank have ever had. We are now prepared to unleash this awesome lineup on Europe. We hope to see you all on tour."

Mick's guitar partner, Cliff Evans, second longest serving member of the band (26 years) said: "To have someone of Mark's calibre join the band shows just how far we have come this last couple of years. Mark is one of the very best Metal drummers around and will really add something to our sound. This is a big move for us and we cannot wait to introduce Mark to the fans on the road later this year."
