Former Slik Toxik frontman Nick Walsh, now fronting Famous Underground, has checked in with the following update:

"Check out this AWESOME unofficial video for the classic Slik Toxik track 'Twenty Something". When I found this I was both flattered and amazed as to how contemporary this song is with a modern visual. Thanks to the creators of this video, it feels good to be able to still inspire others after so many years. Cheers."

"Twentysomething" is taken from Slik Toxik's second and final full length album, Irrelevant, released in 1994. According to a summary from Wikipedia, "despite the best efforts of all involved, the album was not well received by the press or the grunge-obsessed general public. With their fanbase and industry support gone, the remaining members of Slik realized that their days were numbered and they split up after performing a few farewell shows."

Famous Underground’s self-titled debut was produced by Nick Walsh and mixed by Darius Szczepaniak (The Black Crowes, Sacrifice) at Rouge Valley Studio in Toronto. The band next album will takes Walsh’s writing to a more defined state where the lyrics delve more into the complexities of the real world.
