FEAR FACTORY Guitarist Dino Cazares Talks New Album - "Conceptually, It's Still The Futuristic Man Versus Machine Type Of Thing; It's Who We Are"

Fear Factory guitarist Dino Cazares recently spoke with metal journalist Lucas H. Gordon about the band's new album, their 20th anniversary, and the current status of his relationship with frontman Burton C. Bell and the other two members from original/classic line up:

On January 22nd, Fear Factory performed at The Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood, California. Audience member Jake Perry captured the band as they played "Acres Of Skin" from their 2001 album, Digimortal.

Fear Factory had been scheduled to embark on a European tour in March and April, with special guests Intronaut and Chabtan. They cancelled the entire European tour in order to finish their ninth studio album.

The band commented on their change in plans: "To our fans in Europe, the UK, and Ireland; We regretfully MUST postpone the tour until summer 2015 in order to complete our forthcoming , and ninth, studio album. This is an important album for us, so we wish to complete it properly so that we release a great album for our fans. We will see you soon! "

Fear Factory, who recently signed to Nuclear Blast Entertainment, officially began recording their new, as yet untitled album on November 10th, 2014. The current Fear Factory lineup consists of: Burton C. Bell - vocals, Dino Cazares - guitars, Mike Heller - drums, Matt DeVries - bass.

A winter 2015 release for the forthcoming Fear Factory album is expected. Monte Conner of Nuclear Blast - the man who initially signed FF to Roadrunner Records way back in 1990 - commented, "I have heard demos and trust me everyone, this will crush!"
