FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH Drummer JEREMY SPENCER Working On New Book
May 12, 2016, 8 years ago
Five Finger Death Punch drummer Jeremy Spencer spoke to Tina Smash and Big Ric of Big Smash Radio at last weekend's Carolina Rebellion festival. During their chat, which can be heard below, Spencer reveals that his next book will be "just as crazy" as his autobiography, Death Punch'd: Surviving Five Finger Death Punch's Metal Mayhem, which was published in 2014.
"I'm halfway done with the first draft, so it's in the infant stages," says Spencer. "It's about from the day I got out of rehab up until now." Even though Spencer has been sober for more than four years, he says that readers shouldn't expect his forthcoming book to be a toned down follow-up to his autobiography. "It's just as crazy as the other book. (Death Punch'd) was a lot of using and partying, but this is sober. But it's still crazy. I mean, there's been a lot of life that's happened."
The next Five Finger Death Punch show will take place on May 20th in Schaghticoke, NY at Rock'n Derby 2016. Check the band's complete tour schedule at their official website.
