Forbidden drummer Sasha Horn will join San Francisco Bay Area metal veterans, Heathen, for their performance on the upcoming 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise, sailing Thursday, January 22nd on board the Royal Caribbean "Liberty Of The Seas" from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Ocho Rios, Jamaica- returning on Monday, January 26th.

Says Heathen: "Hey to all the fans who might have wondered already - we´re happy to announce that Forbidden drummer Sasha Horn will take over the drum kit for Heathen on the 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise! See you all there!"

Tickets for next year's 70000 Tons Of Metal are on sale now. Ticket prices start at US$666 plus US$333 taxes and fees per person and include all on-board entertainment, non-alcoholic and non-carbonated beverages, all meals in the dining rooms, most on-board restaurants and even 24 hour room service!

 

 

Confirmed acts now include: 1349, Alestorm, Amorphis, Annihilator, Apocalyptica, Arch Enemy, Artillery, Behemoth, Blind Guardian, Cannibal Corpse, Crucified Barbara, D-A-D, Destruction, Einherjer, Ensiferum, Equilibrium, God Dethroned, Grave Digger, Heathen, In Extremo, Kataklysm, Korpiklaani, Lake Of Tears, Michael Schenker Group's Temple Of Rock, Municipal Waste, Napalm Death, Origin, Primal Fear, Pretty Maids, Refuge, Tank, Therion, Threshold, Triosphere, Trollfest, Venom and Xentrix.

Skipper Andy Piller states: “I want to make sure the intimacy between the bands and the fans does not change in our new environment. When we had 2,000 cruisers we booked 40 bands. Now we will have 3,000 cruisers which means we will be inviting 60 bands to perform!”
