Former GUNS N’ ROSES Manager VICKY HAMILTON On SLASH Joining POISON – “He Said, ‘I’m Not Going To Wear All That Makeup’”

Author and manager Vicky Hamilton joins Mitch for episode 214 of One On One With Mitch Lafon.

In the episode's first interview, author and manager Vicky Hamilton discusses her book Appetite For Dysfunction, Steve Adler, wanting Slash to join Poison, working in the early days with Guns N' Roses, Poison, Faster Pussycat, Mötley Crüe and more.

On wanting Slash to join Poison (07:16): "I was the manager of Poison and I liked Slash a lot. I knew him when he was in Black Sheep. I just thought he would be great in the band. He got the gig and the Poison guys expected him to be really excited, but he said, 'I'm not going to wear all the make up,' and that didn't sit well with Bret."

Steven Adler (20:07): "Steven has such a sweet spirit. When I managed the band he wasn't messed up on drugs."
