FROSTBITE - "Etching Obscurity" Video Available; Details Of Forthcoming Album Revealed

Montreal progressive black n' rollers Frostbite will release their debut full-length, entitled Etching Obscurity, in January 2016. The album was reamped, mixed and mastered by Honza "Butcher" Kapac at Hellsound Studios in the Czech Republic. Guitars and bass were recorded by David "Cadaver" Gagné (Hollow, Your Last Wish). Vocals, drums, and acoustic guitars were recorded by Jean-Francois Gagnon at Silver Wings Studios.

The band have recently unveiled a video for the title track, "Etching Obscurity”, streaming below:

Having formed in 2011, Frostbite have perfected their very own catchy blend of death and black metal. Through numerous lineup changes, the band currently consists of Krystal Koffin (vocals), Max Allard (guitars, backing vocals), Tony Collin (guitars), Stef Deschênes (bass) and Alexief Delbès (drums).

Frostbite's 2012 EP, entitled Through The Grave, was produced by David "Cadaver" Gagné (Hollow, Your Last Wish) at his home studio. The vocals were recorded at Silver Wings Studios, and the drums recorded at St-Pierre et Miquelons. The EP also features pianist Ophélie Gingras (Hollow) who contributed the orchestrations and piano on the intro "Descending".

Through The Grave is available digitally through the band's bandcamp page. The physical version of the EP is also available at frostbitemetal.com. For those in Montreal, the EP can be purchased brick-and-mortor at both La Bête Noire Emporium and Freeson Rock.
