Boasting members of Pig Destroyer, Misery Index and Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Fulgora is a nihilistic grindcore/death collective devising violent hymns of audio destruction. Melding death, grind and hardcore-laden, vulturine vocal incursions, the band's sadistic output is the sound of a world gone rotten with apathy, disease and decay.
A name representing the female personification of lightning in Greek mythology, Fulgora - guitarist/vocalist B. L. LaMew, bassist John Jarvis, drummer Adam Jarvis and live guitarist Sparky Voyles (ex-Dying Fetus) - will release their full-length debut via Philip H. Anselmo's Housecore Records this spring. Titled Stratagem, the seven-track bruiser is a sinister collection of limited vinyl singles and samples including "Meridian", captured by producer Will Putney at Converse Rubber Tracks in Brooklyn, New York, Converse's completely free, state-of-the-art recording studio.
