German Stoner Rock 'N' Rollers PLAINRIDE Sign Worldwide Album Deal With Ripple Music

Earth rockin’ drums, a beard growth inducing bass, fuzzomental guitars, the roar of a wolfman and a whole lotta beer. No better words exist to describe German asphalt stoner rockers Plainride, and Ripple Music has welcomed them to their ever-growing family.

Ripple Music will release worldwide their mind-blowing explosion of riff-mad heaviness debut album, Return Of The Jackalope on 2xLP, CD, and digital. Originally self-released by the band, Return Of The Jackalope has been described as the perfect soundtrack for your roadtrip through the deserts of Hades, hitting 666 mph in a beer-fueled Dodge Challenger '69 and embarking on a brain melting hell-ride through space and time accompanied by four German rockers and a horned jackrabbit.

Plainride is driven by:

Max Rebel - vocals, lead guitar
Fabe van Fuzz - rhythm guitar
Leo Lionthatch - bass
Flo Schlenker - drums

While this is undeniably a huge step for Plainride, the band plans to keep on rolling with their sympathetic down-to-earth attitude, as singer Max confirms: "We’re not a business band at any rate. Rehearsals are what makes my week worthwhile. Hanging and rocking out with the guys, frequenting shady concerts - that stuff is like sex to me: Even when it’s bad, it’s still pretty damn good!” Beer-fueled banter aside, these guys aren’t in it just for the heck of it: “We always had the ambition to achieve as much as possible while staying true to our founding spirit. Signing with Ripple Music is an awesome and humbling opportunity for us and I’ll be damned if we’re not gonna work off our asses to honor that!”

Look for Return Of The Jackalope to hit stores and digital platforms worldwide in December of 2016. In the meantime, check out this video the boys made to celebrate their signing.
