GLENN DANZIG Puts On MISFITS Skull Makeup For First Time In 35 Years; Photo Available

"On set of photo-shoot for upcoming Danzig Covers record tentatively titled 'Skeletons' with incredible photographer Paul Brown," reads a post on Danzig's Facebook page. It continues, "1st time in Skull Face since Misfits '79-'80. Trip. Much more malevolent. See you on tour."
Danzig has announced a month long North American headlining tour, set to begin in July in Pomona, CA and ending in Las Vegas, NV.

Back in March, it was announced that Glenn Danzig was in an LA recording studio with guitarist Tommy Victor (Prong), and drummer Johnny Kelly (Type O Negative) laying down tracks for the upcoming Danzig record, tentatively scheduled for late 2015 or early 2016 release. Not to be confused with the covers record, which is scheduled for a late spring release, this will be the first all new material by Danzig since 2010's Deth Red Sabaoth.
