Organizers of the upcoming Chilean Tribute To 80s Heavy Metal have issued the following update:

“Firstly, due schedule and time reasons, the band Virtud de Acero won’t join to us in this crusade. However, we can gladly announce that instead we found an emerging force from Illapel city: the heavy metal band Dewok.

“Second, we officially announce that the list of bands as well as the songs that each perform is as follows…”

“Third, proudly we announce the participation of two international guests. The first is Mr. Steve Grimmett, the legendary voice of Grim Reaper, Onslaught, Lionsheart, among others, and his interesting solo career. Next to Vastator will be responsible for giving a new nuance to the classic "See You In Hell".

“The other guest is also a legend for many years away from the heavy metal scene and has decided to join this project with his great voice. From the United States no less than Mr. Billy McKay, former frontman of the US heavy metallers Griffin (you can check “Flight Of The Griffin” and “Protectors Of The Lair” in his short but intense discography). Remember that McKay only made a fleeting public appearance in 2011 under the Keep It True Metal Fest XIV where with guest musicians from bands like Manilla Road and Roxxcalibur and could present a setlist of its ancient band. This time he will do the honours of playing his classic "Heavy Metal Attack" with the Chilean band Battlerage.

“In addition, we announce that on May 15th the campaign through crowdfunding platform Indiegogo will start in order to finance part of the recording sessions and production of this desired job.
