HALCYON WAY Complete Writing Fourth Album
February 20, 2013, 11 years ago
Atlanta-based metallers HALCYON WAY have completed the writing process for their upcoming fourth album, to be released in the second half of 2013.
The follow-up to IndoctriNation (Nightmare Records) will feature once again the hook and riff-infused brand of metal Halcyon Way has been notorious for, and the band has entered the studio to begin recording the as-yet untitled record. Halcyon Way’s own Jon Bodan is taking over the producer role, while Lasse Lammert will once again handle mixing. Additionally, the band will be working for the first time with Seth Von Paulus, vocal engineer who has worked with names such as ALICIA KEYS, CHRISTINA AGUILERA, and SMASHING PUMPKINS, among others.
To round out the news, Halcyon Way will be embarking on a North American tour with U.D.O., fronted by legendary former ACCEPT vocalist Udo Dirkschneider. The ten-show trek kicks off on April 9th in Amityville, NY and runs for eleven days throughout the Northeastern/Midwestern US and Canada.
