HELIX - CD Release Party A Success

HELIX played their CD release party yesterday, August 19, in London Ontario at The Eastside, to celebrate the release of their new EMI/Sanctuary release, The Power Of Rock And Roll. The show was sold out weeks in advance.
The band played for 90 minutes, and played the following setlist: 'No Rest For The Wicked'/band intro and solos, 'Boomerang Lover', 'Get Up!', 'Wild In The Streets', 'Dirty Dog', 'Eat My Dust', 'Running Wild In The 21st Century', 'The Kids Are All Shakin'', 'Heavy Metal Love', Rick Van Dyk guitar solo (plus segue into METALLICA's Creeping Death riff), 'When The Hammer Falls', 'Deep Cuts The Knife', 'Good To The Last Drop', 'Baby Likes To Ride', 'Gimme Gimme Good Lovin'', 'The Power Of Rock And Roll', 'Animal House', 'Rock You'. Encore: '(Make Me Do) Anything You Want', 'Fill Your Head With Rock'.
According to a BW&BK; source, former lead guitarist Brent Doener and drummer Greg "Fritz" Hinz were also in attendance.
