In a new episode of The Simpsons which aired on November 23rd, entitled Covercraft, Homer Simpson takes up playing bass guitar, eventually starting up his own band with members of the Springfield community. The episode is loaded with bass player stereotypes; a clip can be viewed below:

Spectre Media Group producer Glenn Fricker (Geoff Tate's Queensryche), who is known for his outspoken views, recently issued a new video offering advice on how not to completely suck on bass guitar:

Fricker received plenty of feedback for the clip, some of it negative. Following is response "to a few bassists who've got sand in their vaginas."
