BraveWords.com has received the following:

"Houston horror-metal legends RIPPER have risen from the dead with their first studio album in 23 years entitled, The Dead Have Rizen, on Black Widow Records.

This macabre, metallic masterpiece was recorded, engineered, and produced at Houston's TechSyn Studios by Houston legend, and Grammy Award nominee Stephen Bogle (The Hunger).

The album features original Ripper guitarist Rob Graves (guitar/vocals), Stephen Bogle (guitar/keyboards), Livesay's Alan D'Angelo (bass), and ex Tokyo drummer Don Ramirez.

Originally recorded as a gift to the Ripper faithful, the band has since officially reformed with guitarist Rob Graves, original bassist and founding member Sadie Paine, guitarist Spike Wong (AMBUSH), and drummer Alex Bortoni (HELSTAR/DARKANGEL/INSECTICIDE). Watch the skies, theres a horror-metal storm brewing in Texas!"

The Dead Have Rizen tracklist: 'Intro - The Grave', 'Hemicidal', 'Driller', '66 Angel Eyez', 'U.S. Tank', 'Love Me To Death', 'The Tall Man', 'God Of Thunder' (KISS cover), 'In The Raw', 'Outro - Dark Dominion'.
