HYDROGYN guitarist Jeff Westlake has checked in with the following update:

"Everyone go and check out this link (or use the audio player below) for BLACK SUN out of Toronto, Canada. I just finished producing their debut CD and it is a good one. Great people and great tunes. Look forward to the next one."

Black Sun have announced the North American and European releases of their new album, Edge Of Darkness, for early summer of 2013. The first single 'Take Me Higher' will impact rock radio in June with the band’s first video being unveiled at the same time.

Particles is the forthcoming new release from Hydrogyn that chronicles the band's entire 10 year career to this point. In this box set is a rare look into what a band goes through to get a song just right, or to the point of official release to the public. You will be able to hear how the songs started out, how they took shape in the writing process, and how some songs completely changed in some cases.

Also included in the release will be never before heard live recordings from around the world.

This collection also features some of the killer cover songs the band has done in their career, and some never heard before as well. There will be some songs that have been recorded for other projects and or releases from some of the individual members.

An exact release date for this multi-disc set that houses new music, never before seen pictures and alternate versions of songs never heard before, is expected to be announced shortly.
