February 1, 2014, 2 years ago
I AM I - featuring former DRAGONFORCE singer ZP Theart - were gearing up for a busy 2014, but word has come down that Jacob Ziemba (guitars), Andy Midgley (guitars) and Neil Salmon (bass) have left the band.
The trio has issued the following statement:"Due to internal struggles and ongoing issues within the band, we feel it is our time to move on. This was not an easy decision, but a very necessary one at this point. We would like to thank all of our fans around the world for their support and enthusiasm.
We ask you to respect our decision and look forward to seeing you all on the road somewhere in the future!"
In the meantime, a brief update has appeared on the I Am I Facebook page:"Due to unforeseen circumstances we regretfully announce that we have had to cancel our next two appearances in Wakefield and Weymouth, UK."
