IN FLAMES - Full Stream Of New Siren Charms Album Available

In Flames are offering a full stream of the band's eleventh album, Siren Charms, to be released via Sony/RED in North America on September 9th.

In Flames have built their reputation as one of the most respected and beloved modern metal bands over the course of 10 records, selling three million albums and packing venues all over the world in the process. Formed in 1990, In Flames, who redefined the melodic metal genre and continue to create music that defies simple categorization, have been blazing a metal trail for nearly 25 years, having toured with everyone from Metallica to Slipknot to Killswitch Engage to Slayer. Many of their albums, namely 1996's The Jester Race, 1999's Colony and 2000's Clayman, are considered modern metal classics and "essential listening" by both fans and critics. Yet, two decades deep, the band remains vital and continues to up the ante. In Flames have delivered what will be considered one of the best albums of their already impressive catalog with Siren Charms, taking a huge step forward all the while remaining true to the sound that earned them their status as a hard rock band to watch, within the scene and beyond.

In Flames and Opeth will descend upon North America this December for a 15-date, co-headline tour that kicks off December 3rd in Chicago and runs through December 21st in Toronto. Red Fang will serve as support. Tickets for the tour, dubbed Communion Of Sirens, are on sale now.

"I met [Opeth guitarist] Mikael [Akerfeldt] for the first time in 1998 during the recording of Opeth's album My Arms, Your Hearse," recalls In Flames frontman Anders Friden. "I was working in the studio and we've been friends ever since. Now 16 years more beautiful, we release albums in the same cycle and it's with great honor and pleasure that In Flames share stage with our friends and fellow countrymen in Opeth."

Akerfeldt concurred, saying, "We are delighted to return to North America to tour our latest album Pale Communion. This will be the first of two North American Tours and the fact that we are teaming up with our old friends In Flames for this co-headline tour means that we can get to play some large venues and present our new stage show. I am also looking forward to drinking expensive whiskey with Anders on his account."
