Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson was the guest of honour at Cardiff Devils’ Ice Arena on Sunday (November 20th), reports WalesOnline.
Dickinson watched the Devils against Braehead Clan and was invited to drop the puck before face-off. A registered commercial pilot who owns Cardiff Aviation, Bruce is forging new links with the club after inviting players Patrick Bordeleau and Sean Bentivoglio to join him at the controls of his flight simulator in the Vale of Glamorgan.
After the match, four Cardiff Devils players – Josh Batch, David Brine, Bentivoglio and Patrick Asselin – had their heads shaved to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support’s ‘BraveTheShave’ campaign.
