Vocalist JACK RUSSELL is featured in a new interview with Maximum Threshold discussing his parting of ways with GREAT WHITE and the launch of his own band, JACK RUSSELL'S GREAT WHITE. Check it out via the audio player below.

During the interview, Russell comments on XYZ vocalist Terry Ilous replacing him in Great White:

"They don't sound bad. How could they? I mean, these are guys that I played with for 30 years. I didn't play with those guys because they were slouches. But the sound of the band is so completely changed with that singer. And it's not like it's a singer that's remotely in league with what I did as a vocalist for 30 years. It's blasphemous."

Jack Russell's Great White performed at the world famous Whisky A-Go-Go on August 16th, as part of the Sunset Strip Music Festival. This is the first time Jack Russell has played the legendary venue in over 30 years, and to celebrate the homecoming, the show was recorded to be given away to the fans as a free download.

The free download of the Whisky show will be available through JacksGreatWhite.com later in the year.
