JACK STARR'S BURNING STARR - 1989 Self-Titled Studio Album To Be Reissued In September

The first official CD reissue of Jack Starr's Burning Starr's self-titled studio album from 1989 (aka Orange Album), will be released via Skol Records on September 12th.

The album has been remastered from the original studio tapes, and includes all 13 tracks from that recording session, for the first time ever. Package will include thick booklet, and brand new exclusive artwork painted by Alexander Von Wieding (Manilla Road, Coven Hoof, Razor).

First 500 copies will be available as Double Disc Edition (2CD), including complete live album recorded at the legendary Keep It True! festival in Germany (mixed and mastered by Tarek Maghary of Majesty), with some of the best Jack Starr's Burning Starr songs in live versions, performed by the current Burning Starr lineup featuring musicians known from Virgin Steele, Manowar, Joe Lynn Turner Band and Crystal Viper.

Jack Starr's Burning Starr recently released the "Sands Of Time" video clip. The song is taken from band's latest studio album, Land Of The Dead, which was released in 2011 on CD via Limb Music, and two years later on LP via Blood And Iron Records.

The video was directed by Oliver Barth and produced by Bart Gabriel. It's being used to promote the band's recently announced short European tour.

On September 26th, Burning Starr will also appear at the 80's In The Park Festival in Melbourne, Florida (US). In other news, the band is currently working on new studio album titled Stand Your Ground with producer Bart Gabriel, who except working with acts such as Sacred Steel, Mortician and Sabaton, also produced Burning Starr's latest album, Land Of The Dead.

Jack Starr's Burning Starr, is an American power metal band formed in 1985 by the ex-Virgin Steele member and guitar wizard Jack Starr. After doing four classic albums in the '80s, the band returned with a new line up featuring Jack Starr (guitar), Ned Meloni (bass guitar; Joe Lynn Turner Band, Devil Childe, Phantom Lord), Kenny "Rhino" Earl (drums; Manowar) and Todd Michael Hall (vocals, also in Riot V), and released the well received comeback album titled Defiance in 2009. The band's concert line up is completed by the Crystal Viper front woman Marta Gabriel, who took over rhythm guitar parts.
