Japan-based power metallers, Gauntlet, have released their debut album, Birthplace Of Emperor, via Spiritual Beast. The band's new video, for the track "Beyond The Wall", can now be seen below.

Formed in 2010 by Task and Yasu, the quintet from Fukuoka previously released a single "Arising For The Faith" and two demo CDs, Ability Code and Blank Folder, before recording the debut full-length album, which was mixed and mastered by Takahiro Hashimoto, the guitar player of extreme metallers Inhale and a renowned engineer who has mixed and/or mastered albums by such bands as Earthshaker, Gunbridge, MinstreliX and Myproof.
