Bassist Jason Newsted (ex-METALLICA, VOIVOD, FLOTSAM AND JETSAM) dropped by the Metal Zone with Nikki Blakk to talk about NEWSTED's new EP, Metal, how he became inspired for it's creation, playing with Metallica at the 30th anniversary shows, what he's been doing the last ten years, discovers some new favorite bands in the Metal Zone, and tells an absolutely compelling story about a show Metallica did in the Philippines when riots broke out.
