AEROSMITH blew the roof off of Staples Center in Los Angeles this past Monday (December 3rd). The fever pitch intensified when Steven Tyler (vocals), Joe Perry (guitar), Brad Whitford (guitar), Tom Hamilton (bass) and Joey Kramer (drums) were joined onstage by their Music From Another Dimension! guitar-slinging guest star JOHNNY DEPP for two songs (Aerosmith's version of the classic 'Stop Messin’ Around' from their 2004 Honkin' On Bobo album, and THE BEATLES’ 'Come Together', which Aerosmith recorded for the soundtrack of the 1978 film Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, in which the band also appeared). Photos and video can be seen below:
Former GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Izzy Stradlin also sat in with Aerosmith on a high-octane version of the band’s classic, 'Mama Kin', a song Stradlin’s former band covered. Video footage can be seen below: Aerosmith is in the midst of the second leg of The Global Warming Tour in support of Music From Another Dimension! The remaining Global Warming Tour dates are as follows: December 6 - New Orleans, LA - New Orleans Arena 9 - Fort Lauderdale, FL - BB&T Center 11 - Tampa, FL - Tampa Bay Times Forum 13 - Nashville, TN - Bridgestone Arena (Photos: Zack Whitford - first and second photos; Gene Kirkland - third photo)
