JON BON JOVI Sings In Mandarin For Chinese Valentine’s Day; Vancouver Show Will Happen
August 20, 2015, 9 years ago
With Bon Jovi's first shows ever in China kicking off this September, Jon Bon Jovi offered another special gift to Chinese fans - singing the classic romantic Chinese song, "The Moon Represents My Heart" (in Mandarin), to celebrate Valentine's Day in China!
In other news, Paul Korzilius, from Jon Bon Jovi’s management team has revealed that Bon Jovi will be playing in Vancouver Saturday night (August 22nd) after all. A concert for Jon Bon Jovi ticket holders will go ahead, but not at Stanley Park. It was announced on the Global BC Morning News that a show will now be held at Rogers Arena instead.
Paul Korzilius of Bon Jovi Management states: "Ever since we were forced to announce the cancellation of Stanley Park, Paper Rain Performances has perpetuated confusion and misinformation. Through it all, it has been Jon’s main concern that he find a way to make good on that promoter’s failed attempt to put on the show. Finally, the stage is set and we can confidently announce that all proper pieces are in place for a great show. Vancouver is a special city for Jon, who recorded three albums and given countless performances here. The task of relocating could not have been possible without Rogers Arena’s support. We also commend our partners, Tourism Vancouver and Tickets Tonight for their quick, diligent work. As we said on Monday, Jon has always been willing, able and excited to perform on Saturday – now it’s real.
