KISS, NIRVANA, DEEP PURPLE, YES Lead Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Fan Voting

According to Cleveland.com, KISS has overtaken NIRVANA in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame poll for the class of 2014.

The Rock Hall’s poll has KISS in the lead over Nirvana, 15.2 percent vs. 14.87 percent out of more than a million votes cast. DEEP PURPLE comes in at 11.89 percent and YES is fourth with 10.52 percent.

Among the 16 acts eligible for induction for The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame 2014 includes: PETER GABRIEL, THE REPLACEMENTS, HALL AND OATES, THE PAUL BUTTERFIELD BLUES BAND, CHIC, LL COOL J, N.W.A., LINK WRAY, THE METERS, LINDA RONSTADT, CAT STEVENS, and THE ZOMBIES.

Fans can weigh in with their choices until December 10 at 2 p.m. Pacific time at the Rock Hall’s official website.

The top five vote-getters will constitute the “fans’ ballot” that will be counted among the other 600 to be voted on by previous living inductees, musicians, historians, journalists, critics and music industry personnel.
