In a new interview with the Loudwire Podcast, KISS’ Paul Stanley again ruled out a reunion with original guitarist Ace Frehley.

Stanley said, “I don't think it has anything to do with friendship. I would like to be friends with Ace forever, and although there may have been times where things have been a bit rough or touchy, I prefer and would love to keep our friendship going based on all the great things we've done together. But that doesn't necessarily mean you have to reunite or remarry or whatever it is. You appreciate what you've done together, and sometimes you should realize that it was a certain point in your life and it was a certain time and it was right on many fronts, whereas it's not the case now."

"I couldn't be happier with the band as it is today. Tommy's (Thayer, guitar) been in KISS a long time, and before he was in the band, he was still around the band. And Eric (Singer, drums) has been with us since… Well, he played with me in '88."

According to a report by Niagara This Week, the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino has launched a line of specially designed chips inanticipation of the KISS outdoor show there later this summer. There are five chips in total, one for each individual member of the band plus one featuring the entire group.

A new chip will be released each and will cost. The band chip will cost $25. One chip will be released each Friday leading up to KISS’ outdoor concert on Saturday, Aug. 19 at 8 p.m. The fifth and final chip will feature the entire band and sell for $25 There is a limit of 10 chips per customer.

The first in the series, lead guitarist Tommy Thayer (The Spaceman) went on sale on July 21st.

On October 10th, photographer Lynn Goldsmith - in collaboration with Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley - will release a 336 page hardcover coffee table book via Rizzoli Publishing entitled KISS: 1977 - 1980. The cover art and official description are as follows:

Goldsmith, Stanley, and Simmons have created this book as a thanks to the KISS Army, many of whom have been devoted to the band for more than 40 years and have brought their children and grandchildren into appreciating the music, as well as the spectacle of the band’s live performances. With a simple matte white laminated padded cover that highlights the KISS logo and edged with gilding, the end result could be compared to a kind of bible, holding the relics that their supporters cherish.
