Kitchener Metal Fest – 4th Annual Charitable Event To Take Place May 28th

The 4th annual Kitchener Metal Fest will take place on May 28th at the Wax Nightclub in Kitchener, ON. This is a non-profit event where metal bands from all over Ontario come together to raise money for the Grand River Regional Cancer Center. 100% of the proceeds go to the hospital. The main goal of the event is to raise awareness by talking about the general information to prevent cancer in-between bands.

The Kitchener Metal Fest continues to grow in size and they raised $1200 last year after paying off the venue and 400 attendees. This year’s goal is $1400 and the organizers have been in contact with the Grand River Regional Cancer Center and the organizers have received the official donation box to bring to the show along with pamphlets to help raise awareness. The event will hold raffles, door prizes, and all the bands will make a donation on their behalf. There will also be an airbrushing tattoo station where temporary tattoos of the cancer ribbon will be airbrushed and also t-shirts will be available.

Bands set to perform:

Vesperia (headliner)
Archelon
Odium
Devilz By Definition
Act Of Sin
Fragile Existence
Calling Chaos
