In 1998, KORN launched their massive national Family Values Festival tour bringing together a diverse line-up of metal, rap and alternative acts to support their debut album Follow The Leader. Forward 15 years and 11 albums later, the Grammy Award-winning multiplatinum hard rock innovators have announced the return of the Family Values Festival as a one-time spectacular to mark the release of The Paradigm Shift, in stores and via digital retailers on October 8th on Prospect Park. The show is set for Saturday, October 5th at the 1st Bank Center in Denver, Colorado. Tickets go on sale this Friday, September 6th.

Joining Korn for the 2013 edition of Family Values are HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD, ASKING ALEXANDRIA, MACHINE GUN KELLY and BEWARE OF DARKNESS. Korn, who also celebrate the return of Brian “Head” Welch to the band, will also reintroduce their Korn Kage into their show production. The famous Family Values turntable stage will also be on hand to provide rapid-fire entertainment from one act to the next throughout the evening.

“We wanted to celebrate our new album release in a big way since Head is back and since this record means so much to us. What better way but to bring back Family Values and the Korn Kage for one big fuckin’ special night!” says frontman Jonathan Davis. “Denver became the spot–we figured we needed something cool in the middle of the country, so everyone would have a chance to get there and we could do it with our buds at KBPI who love the rock and have been big Korn supporters forever!”

The Family Values concert lands in the middle of Korn’s special cross-country whirlwind tour of record release “launch dates”--with support from Asking Alexandria and LOVE AND DEATH—starting in Philadelphia, PA on September 26th and heads west where the band will finish up in Las Vegas on October 12th. Venues have now been announced for the shows in Detroit, Minneapolis, Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

So far in 2013 the rock luminaries have headlined the sold-out Rock On The Range Festival (over 40,000 in Columbus, OH) and Rocklahoma Festival, played coveted main stage spots at Download (UK), Rock am Ring (Germany) and Rock im Park (Germany) and toured Europe. They look forward to taking the new material on the road.

“These shows are for the diehards. Can’t wait to play the new songs from ‘TPS’ and expect some surprise blasts from the past too because Head’s back!” says front man Jonathan Davis.

The band recently premiered their lyric video for the lead single—‘Never Never’ from the new album. Look for a full-on video to be revealed soon.

The Paradigm Shift marks the emotional return of co-founding guitarist Brian "Head" Welch for his first album with Korn since 2003's Take A Look In The Mirror, and it serves as the follow-up to the band’s 2011 dubstep metal hybrid, The Path Of Totality, which debuted Top 10 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. The Paradigm Shift is also Korn’s first time working with super producer Don Gilmore (LINKIN PARK’s The Hybrid Theory) who recorded the album with the band at Buck Owens' studio in their original hometown Bakersfield and at Los Angeles's famed NRG Recording Studios.
