Roadrunner Records will release Norwegian rockers KVELERTAK's sophomore album, entitled Meir (which means “more” in English), on March 26th. The album is produced by CONVERGE's Kurt Ballou. Kvelertak have released the artwork being used for the album cover, posted below:
The first single, 'Bruane Brenn', is now available on iTunes and Spotify in Scandinavia.The single will be available on iTunes in North America beginning February 5th and will be available as an instant download when you pre-order the album, an exclusive CD/T-shirt bundle will also be available that day at the Roadrunner Records webstore.
About the signing, Dave Rath, Senior Vice President of A&R at Roadrunner Records said, “Every decade or so, hard rock and heavy metal gets a well-deserved kick in the ass. Meir was recorded at Godcity Studios in Salem, MS with Kurt Ballou.
Indie Recordings will release Meir on vinyl in Scandinavia, also in March.

The band recently commented on what's in store for the next album: "All I can say is, this album is going to fuck the first album in the ass. Hard."
