LEE AARON Donating Metal Queen, Bodyrock Outfits To Calgary’s National Music Centre

Legendary Canadian hard rocky beauty Lee Aaron is donating the Metal Queen and Bodyrock outfits to the National Music Centre, which is housed at Studio Bell in Calgary, Alberts. Aaron’s sophomore album Metal Queen was released in 1984 and launched her career around the world, led by the iconic title track and video. Body rock was released in 1989 and is her most successful and highest-charting release to date (#32 in Canada and #36 in Germany) and featured the hits ”Whatcha Do to My Body" and "Hands On”.

The National Music Centre (NMC) is a national catalyst for discovery, innovation and renewal through music, according to a press release. In their new home at Studio Bell, they aim to preserve and celebrate Canada’s music story and inspire a new generation of music lovers through programming that includes on-site and outreach education programs, performances, artist incubation and exhibitions.
