Legendary AC/DC Recording Studio Alberts To Be Demolished

According to Audiomediainternational.com, Alberts recording studio in Neutral Bay, Sydney, where AC/DC recorded their first six albums including Highway To Hell, Let There Be Rock and the Powerage, is set to be demolished to make room for a new property development project.

The project’s developers Helm plan to replace the facility with a block of 23 apartments and shops to the value of $60 million over the course of two years. The name Muse has been chosen for the development.

The studio - which is due for demolition in early 2016 - is part of Albert Music, has continued to find success through music rights and management deals with AC/DC, The Easybeats, John Paul Young, Rose Tattoo, Vanda & Young and The Angels.
